Steel parts exposed to the toughest working conditions are our speciality. Miilux wear resistant parts are used all over the world in the most demanding working conditions, such as in underground mines. Miilux also designs and manufactures durable wear parts for wood shredders, chippers and recycling crushers.
The Miilux® unique Hard from Edge to Edge method focuses on steel while it is still soft. Hardening is the final step in the process after flame cutting. This means that our wear parts will have no softer sections and have a longer service life.
This process reduces costs and removes the need for special equipment. It also ensures that the finished product has no loss in hardness, which can occur when steels are further processed when they are hardened.
With our Hard from Edge to Edge method we can work on pieces hardened up to 600 HB, which give our final products superior wear resistance.
The holes in Miilux grinder screens will hold their size and shape and have the maximum durability possible.

The new Miilux bucket has a very good design and therefore an excellent filling level. Now Komatsu bed can be filled with 5-6 bucket scoops. Rotation got faster. With less rotation you get more efficient and move more tons by a litre. Konepörssi, Olli Päiviö, 12/2019.

Buckets dig in deeper than before. We are less in a hurry now and we have less to worry about. The best part is that we’re also saving thousands in cold hard cash.
Earlier the buckets could break at welded areas, especially outside in the freezing cold. Those sort of problems dissapeared when we started using Miilux bucket parts, such as bolt-on cutting edges.
